HP Proliant 100 series G5 servers are shipped with HP Embedded G5 SATA Controller/4-Port Internal SAS HBA controller. On HP ProLiant DL185 G5 Server, you may receive error “1610 -Temperature Violation Detected” on server POST. The message will tell you that one of the server component is over heating. Sometime you will be allowed to boot to OS even though you receive above said error.
