In this post, we will discuss how to find the HP NULL IMPI drivers. We have installed Windows 2008 on a 100 Series HP Server (Example: DL180 G6 Server) and found that one of the driver is missing in device manager. When we checked the hardware instance ID/Device ID/Device instance ID of the unknown device, it is listed as ACPI\IPI0001. This device ID is for HP NULL IPMI Controller

In this post, we will learn how to disable the HP OEM logo screen (or Splash screen) of 100 Series HP Proliant Servers. If you are using HP Proliant 100 series servers and wanted to disable HP Logo screen or Splash screen, then we need to disable “Quiet Boot” option from the BIOS. When we disable the “Quiet Boot”, it will disable the HP logo.

What is Automatic Server Recovery (ASR) and how does it works?. The ASR feature is a hardware-based timer. ASR will be keep checking whether your HP server is responding or is it in hung state.
