Believe me, finding drivers of older Silicon Integrated Systems graphics card will make you crazy. We have to reinstall Windows XP on an older machine and we had no motherboard/driver CD of the machine. We were able to get most of the Windows XP drivers but got stuck with SiS 315 Graphics card 🙁SiS 315 is an integrated graphics chipsets (IGP) from SiS. An Integrated chipset is a chipset on the system board that has 2D / 3D graphics functionality integrated on it. The device ID/Hardware instance ID is SiS 315 is PCI\VEN_1039&DEV_0325&SUBSYS_31691642
To download SiS 315 Graphics driver,
1. Go to Download Page page and accept the Terms and Conditions.
2. Select Windows XP -> IGP Graphic Driver –> SiS650 & SiS740 series –> Click on Go
3. Try the UniVGA2 driver if that does not work try the UniVGA3.
4. Click on Download Now button, install it.
UniVGA2 driver supports SiS651, SiSM650, SiS650GX, SiS650GL, SiS650, SiS740 motherboard chipset whereas UniVGA3 driver supportsSiS760, SiS661FX, SiSM661FX, SiSM661MX, SiSM741, SiS741, SiS741GX, SiS651, SiSM650, SiS650GX, SiS650GL, SiS740, SiS650. If your system chipset is older SiS IGP chipset, like SiS620, SiS530, SiS5598, SiS5596, then at the SiS download page, please select Graphics Driver -> Other SiS series IGP -> Your Operating system, then to click “Go”
